1000 Miglia, Viaggio Nella Memoria is an editorial project by Massimo Osti Studio, published in 1990 with the historic Italian publisher Electa. The limited edition of the first and only issue, enriched with an introduction by Massimo Osti, made the volume a rare collector's object. Daniela Facchinato's photographs are the protagonists of the book, one of the first works to explore the similarities between automotive aesthetics and clothing. The images "aged" and poetic feel is the result of a graphic treatment developed by Massimo Osti, a recall to the garment dyeing technique pioneered by the designer, whereby clothes take on unique shades and hues over time.
