TRAMA 3D

Developed with Limonta | 1893, the Chapter revisits Jacquard technology through an industrial process inspired by airbag production and three-dimensional details. The items, including a bomber jacket, work jacket, trousers and a polyurethane-coated bag, are crafted from ECONYL® regenerated nylon and garment dyed to achieve unique shades and colour variations.

THE PROCESS

Innovating the Jacquard technology

The second iteration of Trama 3D builds on the foundation of the previous Chapter 02, marking an evolution in details and silhouettes. Refined through extensive research and development, this new step pushes Jacquard technology towards new standards of innovation, while remaining faithful to its original process.
From a single thread, full panels are created with placed elements, such as logo applications, and then laser-cut according to a precise map of their components. Inspired by the airbag manufacturing process, this construction minimises seams, while pockets are seamlessly integrated into the fabric.
