FRESCO WOOL GUM

The Chapter provides a modern reinterpretation of Tecnowool, the innovative material developed by Massimo Osti in the mid-1990s. Developed in collaboration with Limonta | 1893, the garments are crafted from combed wool twill with a double resin coating. Garment dyeing creates irregular colour effects and tone variations, and the internal resin, which is partially resistant to dyeing, contributes to the unique mélange finish.

THE PROCESS

Massimo Osti’s Tecnowool, Reinvented

The invention of Tecnowool marked a turning point in the world of fabrics, redefining the concept of urban sportswear and introducing an innovative use of wool. Massimo Osti developed a material obtained by thermally bonding wool to a non-run nylon jersey mesh, combining the breathability and comfort of natural fibre with the durability of nylon.

With Chapter 11, Fresco Wool Gum takes that intuition and evolves it, creating a lightly rubberised wool fabric characterised by more sophisticated finishes and contemporary silhouettes.
