Tecnomesh
Exploring and drawing inspiration from Massimo Osti’s Archive, Chapter 03 reflects the Italian designer’s dedication to research and experimentation on apparel transformability, military-inspired camouflage prints, and mesh-structured fabrics. Garments are crafted in Tecnomesh, a bi-stretch fabric made from 80% nylon and 20% elastane, woven on Raschel looms and printed with double-sublimated camouflage.

THE PROCESS
MODULAR CAMOUFLAGE DESIGN
Massimo Osti's Archive continues to be a source of inspiration for avant-garde design, able to combine textile innovation and modern aesthetics. Chapter 03 explores the idea of modular uniforms by examining single garment elements, the use of technical materials and camouflage prints. All these elements are emphasised by the Birnam Jacket's transformable structure. The different ways in which the garment can be used, combined with the characteristics of transparency, lightness and elasticity of Tecnomesh, express Massimo Osti Studio's innovative approach focused on multifunctionality. The camouflage prints are made by sublimation on both sides.
