Reversed GORE-TEX INFINIUM™

Chapter 07

Massimo Osti Studio reinterprets GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ by reversing its construction, staying true to the designer’s legacy of experimenting with technical fabrics. The typically hidden nylon tricot mesh is placed on the outside, while the outer layer is moved to the inside. The Chapter includes four GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ garments: the Fog Jacket with a removable collar, the Down Jacket with a fleece-lined hood, trousers, and a cap. A pullover, cardigan, and a reversible scarf in double knit extrafine merino wool complete the Chapter. Combining inner and outer layers creates a mélange effect, enhanced by the contrasting seams.

THE PROCESS

A TRIBUTE TO MASSIMO OSTI'S LEGACY

Massimo Osti often used technical materials inside-out, as he was unsatisfied with their original fabrics. Following his innovative approach and studying the prototypes he developed, Massimo Osti Studio worked with GORE-TEX, an authority in high-performance fabrics, reversing GORE-TEX INFINIUM™.
